About Me
Several years ago I lost my job with a large privately held corporation. Being a “woman of a certain age”, it became apparent to me that finding work at the level to which I was accustomed in my current location, was not going to be possible. More importantly, I also realized that I didn’t really WANT to find work in the same field at the same level of stress. I had played with web design and learned the basics of html and realized that that type of work would combine both my creative and technical skills. Since then I have worked to learn my craft and have developed several websites, some personal, one personal business, and 2 for organizations of which I am a part: RiverWalk Church of Christ . org and Carpenter Place . org.
I’m simply a Christian, a follower of Christ, a believer in the one true God, the Father, Who sent His Son to live among us and die for us. The Son died on a cross and was raised on the third day, after which He walked among His disciples, met with them, shared with them. After the Son was taken to His Father’s side, the Holy Spirit came among us as a Counselor. I worship and serve with the RiverWalk Church of Christ (formerly known as Central Church of Christ) in Wichita, KS.
I am a wife, a mother, a grandmother. Rearing my children is the most important thing I have ever done. It can also be the most painful, even when you “produce” 2 perfect children, as I have. But it’s also the path to those grandchildren!
